What is Biochar?

It can also be used as a carbon sequestration tool, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by storing carbon in the soil for hundreds or even thousands of years.

The Biochar Project seeks to scale up the production and use of biochar as a sustainable and cost-effective solution to some of the most pressing environmental challenges facing our planet. The Biochar project is committed to exploring the full potential of biochar to create a more sustainable and resilient future for all.
At Kasima Ghana Limited we have several reasons why we started the Biochar Project:
