Ongoing Project
Regenerative Bambara Groundnut Value Chain Project
The Regenerative Bambara Groundnut Value Chain Project (RBGVCP) was officially launched in February 2022 in Northern Ghana. This project is implemented by three partners: WhatIF Foods, Pond Foundation, and Kasima Company Limited. Together, they seek to build a Regenerative Bambara Groundnut (RBG) supply chain anchored in smallholder farmers’ fields in Northern Ghana.
The project aims at supporting farmers to increase their yields while improving their soils and community environment. The overall goal is to improve farm community livelihoods and overall well-being which will come from improved farming practices, increased yields, and prices, sensitive cultural engagement, improved services, and an enhanced community environment.
